Working in Partnership for 10 years
The Midcounties Co-operative has an enviable reputation for their deployment of technology for the benefit of both customers and store colleagues alike. Pierhouse was therefore delighted to work with The Midcounties Co-operative to implement NetTickIT as their in-store printing solution. The Midcounties Co-operative is the second largest independent co-operative in the UK with a turnover of £910 million covering Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands.
There are over 200 retail stores, most of which are community focused, located in villages and areas in towns often ignored by other retailers. The Co-operative is committed to providing an excellent local service so faster, easier and more cost effective ticketing was very important to them.
How it works
Every three weeks a national set of products is identified and every Co-operative store commits to promoting these lines. The buying arm of the Co op movement, CRTG, release the product details to each Co-operative Society for the management of each promotion. The Midcounties Co-operatives chose to develop and produce their own point of sale materials to advertise these promotional lines. After researching the market extensively they concluded that they would gain the greatest benefit from NetTickIT for their in-store POS colour printing.
“Retailers always demand better, faster, easier and more cost-effective in store solutions we can confirm NetTickIT delivers exactly to expectation!”
